What is Good (Day 8)

{ The Good Life } 3.14.21

Rest. Rest. Rest. My body has been telling me this a lot lately. I am growing on all levels. With each new shoot I can feel my life and my soul being fed and supported in abundant new ways.

The first spring tulips leaves are poking out of the ground in our south facing garden. Spring is coming whether we want it to come or not. How joyous! The rebirth of all things has begun.

Spring meeting winter. You can just feel it.

What is Good? 3.14.21

  1. Change can not come if youdon't accept where you are and who you are in this moment. This is a thought that was given to me yesterday. I am here to say this is true. I have tried to force healing and change for years. I have tried to make it happening by jumping to the parts of the process that bypass the gooey center. It never has worked. Now in my journey I strive towards compassion and acceptance of all parts of my life. That means forgiving myself for not understanding and forgiving others for not understanding. This has been a radical shift in my life. A few weeks ago I was able to walk through my high school and I didn't cringe at any of the younger selves that showed up. What joy! To love them for all that they were and are.

  2. Let your body rest. I am tired. There are a lot of energies shifting right now. I am letting my body be still.

  3. I am completely supported. I am supported by myself first and foremost but I have begun to really listen and see. I have noticed how many people love and support me. I didn't really realize but all of a sudden it has been like BAM! BAM! BAM! Support coming from all sides. When you are open to it you will see how the Source is providing. They always are there for you.

A new week beginning. I feel like this past week has just flown by. It must be the change of the seasons. Here is to the glorious percolations of spring.

Keep living { The Good Life }

Health and the Pursuit of Joy to you all.

Ian

My Body.

Today I had the most pleasant moment. I weighed myself for the first time in weeks. I am the heaviest I have been in my life yet I am not mad at my body. I have always struggled with my body and it’s
